The core project guarantees the design and development of a customised restaurant and bar website of up to 18 pages. Meetings, planning, design, development, content implementation, SEO, integrations, revisions, testing and project management all form part of the 200-hour allocation. Once the guaranteed core scope has been completed, any remaining project hours may be used for additional agreed requests, including additional pages up to a maximum of 30 pages overall. Third-party restaurant reservation platforms can be integrated within the agreed project scope and available project hours. SERVICE SCOPE & 200 WORKING HOURS

This is a fully customised restaurant and bar website design and development service.

The project includes a professional working-time allocation of:

Up to 200 professional working hours

The project price covers the complete agreed service within this working-time allowance.

The 200 hours are used across all stages of the project, including:

  • Client meetings
  • Project consultations
  • Research
  • Planning
  • Website architecture
  • Sitemap development
  • UX planning
  • Visual design
  • Website development
  • Responsive development
  • Mobile optimisation
  • Content implementation
  • Restaurant menu implementation
  • Image and video implementation
  • PDF integration
  • SEO
  • Technical SEO
  • Integrations
  • Client communication
  • Revisions
  • Testing
  • Launch preparation
  • Project management
  • Other agreed custom work

This provides the client with a substantial professional development allowance while also allowing the project to remain highly flexible.

The service is not based on an unlimited number of changes or unlimited development time.

It is based on a maximum professional project allocation of 200 working hours, together with the guaranteed core project specification described below.

Dynamic Restaurant Services CMS

A Dynamic Services Listing Page and Dynamic Service Details Item Page can be included for private dining, catering, events or other services. Up to 5 initial service records are included within the 200-hour project allocation.

GUARANTEED CORE WEBSITE — UP TO 18 PAGES

The core project guarantees the design and development of a complete custom restaurant and bar website containing:

Up to 18 website pages

These 18 pages form the guaranteed principal website scope.

The exact pages are determined during project planning according to the individual restaurant, business model, customer journey and content requirements.

Possible pages may include:

  • Home
  • About
  • Our Story
  • Restaurant
  • Food Menu
  • Tapas
  • Paella
  • Bar
  • Wine
  • Cocktails
  • Private Dining
  • Events
  • Catering
  • Gallery
  • What's On
  • Reservations
  • Plan Your Visit
  • Contact

However, this is not a fixed page template.

Another restaurant may require a different 18-page structure.

For example, separate pages may be created for Lunch, Dinner, Brunch, Seasonal Menus, Chef, Careers, FAQ, Promotions, News or other relevant areas.

The sitemap will be individually planned for each client.

The purpose of the 18-page guarantee is to provide the client with a substantial and complete restaurant website as the core deliverable of the project.

ADDITIONAL PAGES — UP TO 30 PAGES OVERALL

The website can potentially be expanded beyond the guaranteed 18 pages.

The maximum project capacity is:

Up to 30 website pages overall

Pages 19–30 are not automatically included as guaranteed additional pages.

They can be created using the remaining available project hours from the 200-hour allowance.

For example, if the core 18-page website, meetings, development, SEO, integrations, testing and revisions require 160 hours, the remaining 40 hours may be used for additional agreed work.

This could include:

  • Additional website pages
  • Additional menu pages
  • Landing pages
  • Seasonal pages
  • Event pages
  • Promotional pages
  • Additional galleries
  • Additional forms
  • Additional SEO work
  • Additional content implementation
  • Extra integrations
  • Additional functionality
  • Other agreed development

The client and our team will agree how remaining project time is best used.

The website cannot exceed 30 pages under this service.

If additional pages or functionality are required beyond the available 200-hour allocation, they can be quoted separately.

FLEXIBLE USE OF REMAINING PROJECT HOURS

One of the key benefits of this custom service is flexibility.

After the guaranteed core project requirements have been completed, any remaining hours within the 200-hour project allocation can be used for additional agreed work.

The client does not have to decide how every remaining hour will be used at the beginning of the project.

As the website develops, priorities may change.

Remaining time may therefore be used for work such as:

  • Additional pages
  • More complex page layouts
  • Extra restaurant sections
  • Additional menu implementation
  • Extra content
  • Additional meetings
  • Further design refinements
  • Additional integrations
  • Additional SEO work
  • Additional forms
  • Event functionality
  • Seasonal content
  • Additional mobile optimisation
  • Extra testing
  • Other agreed website improvements

This makes the service suitable for larger restaurant projects where the final requirements may develop during production.

CUSTOM WEBSITE DESIGN

This is a bespoke website design service.

We do not simply select a standard restaurant template and replace its existing images and text.

The website will be individually designed around the client's:

  • Brand
  • Restaurant concept
  • Cuisine
  • Location
  • Target customers
  • Photography
  • Video
  • Menus
  • Interior design
  • Business positioning
  • Marketing strategy
  • Reservation requirements
  • Events
  • Private dining
  • Future growth plans

The website design may include completely different layouts and content structures for different areas of the website while maintaining one consistent visual identity.

The final result should feel specific to the restaurant rather than like a generic hospitality website.

CLIENT MEETINGS & CONSULTATION

Client communication is an important part of this service.

Unlike smaller website packages, this project allows for regular meetings and consultations throughout the development process.

Meetings can be used for:

  • Initial discovery
  • Website planning
  • Sitemap decisions
  • Brand discussions
  • Design reviews
  • Content discussions
  • Menu planning
  • Photography reviews
  • Video reviews
  • Functionality discussions
  • SEO planning
  • Integration decisions
  • Progress reviews
  • Revision discussions
  • Launch preparation

Meeting and consultation time forms part of the overall 200-hour project allocation.

This allows the client to choose how involved they would like to be while ensuring that project time remains professionally managed.

WORKING WITH THE CLIENT'S OWN TEAM

The client may have its own internal or external professional team.

We can collaborate with authorised:

  • Business owners
  • Directors
  • Restaurant managers
  • Marketing teams
  • Branding agencies
  • Marketing consultants
  • Photographers
  • Videographers
  • Graphic designers
  • Menu designers
  • Copywriters
  • PR specialists
  • SEO consultants
  • Business consultants
  • Other authorised professionals

This service is designed to support this type of collaborative project.

Where several people are involved, we recommend that one person is nominated as the principal project contact or final decision-maker.

This helps maintain clear instructions and prevents conflicting feedback from delaying the project.

Time spent in meetings, communication and coordination with the client's team forms part of the 200-hour project allocation.

WEBSITE CONTENT

The client can provide its own:

  • Website text
  • Menus
  • Restaurant information
  • Brand material
  • Photographs
  • Video
  • Prices
  • Opening hours
  • Event information
  • Staff information
  • Chef information
  • Private dining information
  • Promotions
  • Business information

We can organise and adapt supplied material for professional website presentation.

Where appropriate, we can improve:

  • Content structure
  • Headings
  • Calls-to-action
  • Page organisation
  • Content hierarchy
  • Internal linking
  • SEO structure
  • Restaurant descriptions
  • Menu presentation

The client remains responsible for confirming the accuracy of factual business information before publication.

RESTAURANT & BAR MENU IMPLEMENTATION

Menu presentation is an important part of this service.

Menus can be presented as:

  • Website content
  • Downloadable PDF documents
  • A combination of both

Possible menu areas can include:

  • Tapas
  • Starters
  • Main courses
  • Speciality dishes
  • Paella
  • Desserts
  • Lunch
  • Dinner
  • Brunch
  • Children's menus
  • Wine
  • Cocktails
  • Spirits
  • Drinks
  • Happy Hour
  • Seasonal menus
  • Private dining menus
  • Catering menus
  • Event menus

The exact structure will be planned according to the individual restaurant.

PDF INTEGRATION

The project can include integration of up to:

20 client-supplied PDF files

These may include:

  • Food menus
  • Wine lists
  • Cocktail menus
  • Drinks menus
  • Private dining menus
  • Event packages
  • Catering menus
  • Seasonal menus
  • Restaurant information

We will upload, organise and connect these documents to the appropriate website areas.

The integration of supplied finished PDF files forms part of the project's working-time allowance.

Creating or redesigning PDF documents themselves is not automatically included unless agreed as part of the remaining project time or quoted separately.

RESPONSIVE DEVELOPMENT

The website will be professionally developed for:

  • Desktop
  • Laptop
  • Tablet
  • Mobile

Responsive design is an important part of the project.

The mobile website will not simply be treated as a reduced desktop version.

We will review:

  • Navigation
  • Typography
  • Spacing
  • Image positioning
  • Menu presentation
  • Buttons
  • Forms
  • Calls-to-action
  • Reservations
  • Contact information
  • General mobile usability

Restaurant customers frequently visit websites from mobile devices to view menus, make reservations, check opening hours, obtain directions and contact the restaurant.

Mobile presentation is therefore treated as an essential part of the project.

WEBSITE FEATURES

Depending on the individual project, the service can include:

  • Custom website design
  • Custom navigation
  • Restaurant menus
  • Bar menus
  • Food presentation
  • Cocktail presentation
  • Wine presentation
  • Galleries
  • Video
  • Maps
  • Contact forms
  • Private dining enquiries
  • Event enquiries
  • Catering enquiries
  • Reservation pathways
  • Social-media links
  • Downloadable menus

  • What's On sections
  • Promotions
  • Careers
  • Location information
  • Calls-to-action
  • Third-party integrations
  • Search optimisation
  • Responsive layouts
  • Other agreed custom website functionality

All development work contributes to the overall 200-hour project allocation.

SEO INCLUDED

SEO is incorporated into the project.

The work may include:

  • SEO website architecture
  • Keyword research
  • Keyword mapping
  • Local SEO planning
  • Restaurant-related keyword research
  • Page titles
  • Meta descriptions
  • H1 structure
  • H2/H3 structure
  • Search-friendly URLs
  • Image alt text
  • Internal linking
  • Canonical configuration
  • Sitemap configuration
  • Indexing settings
  • Structured data where appropriate
  • Image optimisation
  • Social-sharing metadata
  • Technical SEO checks
  • Search Console configuration where access is available
  • Local-business information consistency
  • Pre-launch SEO review

SEO work forms part of the project's overall 200-hour working allocation.

The exact depth of additional SEO work can therefore be adjusted according to project priorities and available remaining time.

Ongoing monthly SEO, continuous content creation and backlink campaigns are separate services unless specifically agreed.

RESERVATION & THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS

Standard restaurant reservation-system integration can be included where required.

This can include:

  • Reserve a Table buttons
  • Reservation page
  • Embedded booking widget
  • External booking links
  • Desktop booking optimisation
  • Mobile booking optimisation
  • Booking journey testing

The client is responsible for maintaining any required third-party accounts.

Third-party subscription, booking, transaction or per-cover charges are not included in the website project price.

Standard integration work forms part of the 200-hour allowance.

Bespoke API development or the creation of a completely custom booking platform may require separate agreement depending on complexity and available project time.

REVISIONS

The project includes:

Up to 6 formal rounds of reasonable minor corrections

These may include:

  • Text corrections
  • Image replacements
  • Small spacing changes
  • Minor colour refinements
  • Button changes
  • Link corrections
  • Menu amendments
  • Contact-detail changes
  • Reasonable layout refinements

A revision round means a consolidated collection of changes submitted for review.

Regular discussions during the design process are not automatically treated as formal revision rounds.

However, all design, development, meetings, communication and revision work contributes to the project's overall 200-hour time allocation.

The revision allowance does not include six complete redesigns of the website.

ONLINE BOOKINGS

Restaurant booking and reservation functionality is included according to the agreed project solution. Third-party restaurant reservation systems may be integrated. Where Wix Bookings is selected, setup can include up to 8 initial booking services / reservation types. Provider subscriptions, transaction charges and per-cover fees are paid by the Client.

PROJECT DURATION

Up to 90 working days

This provides time for:

  • Planning
  • Meetings
  • Architecture
  • Design
  • Development
  • Content implementation
  • Responsive optimisation
  • SEO
  • Integrations
  • Client reviews
  • Corrections
  • Testing
  • Launch preparation

Working days generally exclude weekends and public holidays.

The timetable depends on the client supplying required content, images, video, menus, approvals, access and feedback within reasonable timeframes.

Client delays may affect the project completion date.

The 90-working-day duration is the planned project period.

The 200-hour figure represents the maximum professional working-time allocation available within that project.

These are therefore two different measurements:

Project duration: up to 90 working days
Professional working-time allocation: up to 200 working hours

PROJECT TIME MANAGEMENT

The 200-hour project allowance will be used professionally according to the requirements of the project.

The priority order is:

First: complete the guaranteed core project specification, including the custom restaurant website of up to 18 pages and the essential agreed development requirements.

Second: use any remaining available project time for additional agreed requests.

This means additional requests do not reduce the client's guaranteed core 18-page website.

Once the core project is sufficiently developed, remaining hours can be allocated flexibly according to the client's priorities.

For transparency, substantial additional requests may be assessed according to the approximate development time they require before work begins.

This helps both parties decide how the remaining project hours should be used.

DDITIONAL REQUESTS DURING THE PROJECT

The client is welcome to request additional work during the project.

Examples may include:

  • Page 19–30
  • New landing pages
  • More complex layouts
  • Additional forms
  • Additional galleries
  • Extra menu areas
  • Additional content
  • New integrations
  • Additional meetings
  • Additional SEO
  • New promotional sections
  • Additional event functionality
  • Extra responsive optimisation
  • Other website development

These requests can be completed where sufficient hours remain within the 200-hour project allowance and both parties agree that the work should be included.

If there is insufficient remaining project time, we will discuss this with the client before undertaking work beyond the agreed allowance.

WORK BEYOND 200 HOURS

The service includes a maximum project allocation of:

200 professional working hours

Once the complete 200-hour allowance has been used, additional development is not automatically included in the original project price.

If the client would like further work, additional time can be discussed and quoted separately.

No substantial additional paid work should be undertaken without agreement with the client.

This protects both the client and the development team from an open-ended project.

TESTING & QUALITY CONTROL

Before final completion, the website will be reviewed for:

  • Desktop presentation
  • Tablet presentation
  • Mobile presentation
  • Navigation
  • Buttons
  • Links
  • Forms
  • Maps
  • Menus
  • PDF links
  • Images
  • Video
  • Contact information
  • Social-media links
  • Reservation pathways
  • Metadata
  • SEO settings
  • Internal links
  • Indexing configuration
  • General website usability

Testing time forms part of the professional project allocation and is treated as an essential part of completing the core website.

POST-PROJECT GUARANTEE

The project includes a:

1-month post-project workmanship guarantee

This covers implementation issues directly related to work completed by us within the agreed project scope.

If an element we implemented does not operate as agreed, we will investigate and correct the implementation during the guarantee period.

The guarantee does not provide additional project-development hours and does not cover:

  • New functionality
  • New pages
  • New content
  • New design requests
  • Client changes
  • Third-party outages
  • Third-party changes
  • Changes made by other developers
  • Platform changes outside our control

WEBSITE OWNERSHIP

Following completion of the project and fulfilment of the agreed terms, the website can be transferred to the client's own account.

Website ownership transfer is included without an additional transfer charge.

We can remain as an authorised collaborator where the client would like ongoing support after completion.

SERVICE AGREEMENT

Important Project Scope: This custom service provides a reserved allocation of up to 200 professional working hours. Pages 19–30 are therefore subject to sufficient remaining project time and are not automatically guaranteed. The standard project period is up to 90 working days, subject to timely Client cooperation.
