Economy Website Design Process

This is a custom website built from scratch specifically for the Client, not a pre-made template. The Client provides one example website as visual inspiration. WIX SOLUTIONS designs 3 original Home Page mockups based on that example and the Client brief; the Client selects one. Economy projects have limited design changes and controlled scope. Communication is mainly by email, with a 30-minute Zoom call to start and another 30-minute Zoom call at completion. The Client may email one consolidated list of minor corrections, once. A 30-day workmanship guarantee covers defects in our original agreed work after completion. Standard updates for any free WIX SOLUTIONS applications included with the website carry no additional application-update fee where released and compatible; paid third-party apps and ongoing maintenance are separate. An Economy Advanced Website for secondary education providers, designed to present curriculum subjects, admissions and transition, sixth-form and careers options, statutory policies, exam information and important school events. Its public-facing pages remain separate from private student or examination management systems.

Dynamic Subjects & Curriculum CMS Included

Up to 5 initial publicly appropriate subject or curriculum records are created in a subject Listing Page and dedicated Item Page. The Client supplies approved subject content and academic information.

Open Evenings – Up to 4 Types Included

Up to 4 initial adult-managed school visits, open evening, sixth-form introduction or information appointments may be configured through Wix Bookings when appropriate. This is not an admissions management, student login or online examination system.

Lessons, Packages & School Information

Sixth-form provision, careers guidance, student support, school timetables, statutory documents and public performance information are displayed as approved content. No student subscriptions, paid course engine or grade-reporting dashboard is included.

Online Payments / Deposits

Visits and information sessions can remain free. Payment or tuition billing arrangements are not assumed for schools and are outside the standard scope unless explicitly agreed.

Wix Blog Included

Wix Blog with its default dynamic Blog page is included for educational updates, announcements, articles and SEO-supporting content. An ongoing blog-writing subscription is not included.

Professional Content Writing Included

WIX SOLUTIONS professionally writes, edits and structures website copy from accurate factual information supplied and approved by the Client. Each website is individually adapted within the fixed Economy project scope.

SEO-Friendly Setup Included

Initial SEO setup includes page titles, meta descriptions, search-friendly URLs, heading structure, appropriate image alt text, internal links and available sitemap and indexing settings. No search ranking, traffic, enquiry, enrolment or booking result is guaranteed.

Online Purchase & Contract Acceptance

This is an online professional service, not a physical item or ready-made downloadable template. The full Product-Specific Service Agreement and applicable WIX SOLUTIONS general service terms must be accessible and affirmatively accepted at checkout before purchase. If the Client does not accept the agreement, they must not place an order. Read the Full Service Agreement before purchasing.

Project Commencement & Cancellation

The project will normally enter planning after full payment. Once project-specific work has begun, voluntary Client cancellation or change of mind does not entitle the Client to a refund, subject to remedies and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of England and Wales. Full details appear in the Service Agreement.

Legal Policies & Sector Responsibilities

Basic Data Protection / Privacy and Cookie Policy content is included through a dynamic LEGAL Item Page using Client-supplied information. Schools must verify their own published admissions, statutory governance and educational performance information, pupil protection and safeguarding policies, careers-provider access information and applicable accessibility requirements. The Client must verify legal, safeguarding and statutory content as applicable.

Website Ownership, Co-Owner Access & Footer Credit

After completion and full payment, the Wix website is transferred to the Client's account at no additional ownership-transfer fee. Under this Economy service agreement, WIX SOLUTIONS remains an ongoing Wix Admin (Co-Owner), subject to applicable law and necessary security controls. The website footer retains a visible, working ‘Website Design by WIX SOLUTIONS’ link to www.wixsolutions.co.uk, as specified in the Agreement.

Wix Plan, Domain & Third-Party Costs

The Wix plan, domain, business email, paid apps, licences, payment-processing fees and other third-party subscriptions are paid separately by the Client and are not included in the £799 design price.

Additional Work

The following require a separate quotation: MIS and admissions integrations, student or parent portals, pupil records, live assessment feeds, grade processing, more than 5 subject records or 4 optional booking types, additional systems and bespoke coding.
