WEBSITE DESIGN FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS
ECONOMY WEBSITE DELIVERY PROCESS — EFFECTIVE 27 OCTOBER 2026
Application and priority: The following clear Economy website design process applies to new purchases placed on or after 27 October 2026. It overrides any conflicting older references in this Product-Specific Agreement concerning meetings, reference examples, Home Page concepts, revision allowances and the 30-day guarantee. It does not retrospectively alter contracts concluded before its publication, and does not increase the stated page count, CMS, booking or other quantities included in the product purchased.
Economy Process A — Individually Designed, Fixed Scope
This is a custom-built website created from scratch for the Client, not the resale of a ready-made website or an off-the-shelf template. WIX SOLUTIONS creates an original design suited to the Client's business using its professional methods and available Wix tools. The Economy price is achieved through defined features, limited consultation and a controlled design process. Once the Client selects the concept and development begins, the Client cannot exercise unlimited day-to-day design direction, request unlimited new mockups or repeatedly change the agreed visual style.
Economy Process B — Client Reference and Three Home Page Concepts
Before the creative work begins, the Client must provide one example website that illustrates their preferred appearance or style, together with factual information and any available brand guidelines. WIX SOLUTIONS uses the reference for inspiration only and will not reproduce third-party protected design, photography, text or branding without the necessary rights. WIX SOLUTIONS prepares three original Home Page design mockups informed by the reference and Client brief. The Client selects one direction, which guides the full website build within the purchased scope. Three mockups do not mean three completed websites.
Economy Process C — Two 30-Minute Zoom Calls and Email-Led Communication
The included project communication consists of a 30-minute Zoom meeting at project start to review requirements, supplied reference and scope, and a 30-minute Zoom meeting upon substantial completion to present the finished work, review handover and explain the remaining minor correction process. These are the two included calls; additional calls or extended consultations require separate written agreement and may be chargeable. Project communication between these appointments is primarily by email; WhatsApp may be used where mutually convenient. Both calls are scheduled by mutual availability. Failure by the Client to attend may require rearrangement and can delay the project.
Economy Process D — One Consolidated Round of Minor Corrections
The Client may submit one consolidated written list of reasonable minor corrections, sent once by email, after presentation of the substantially completed website. Minor corrections may include small text, spacing, formatting, alignment or replacement-of-supplied-image adjustments within the approved design and purchased functionality. Splitting feedback across multiple messages or requesting further rounds is not included. Requests to change the approved concept, rebuild whole sections, add functions, rewrite substantial amounts of content, create additional pages or alter the scope are not minor corrections and may be quoted separately. WIX SOLUTIONS' obligation to remedy its own failure to deliver the agreed specification is separate from and does not consume the included minor correction round.
Economy Process E — 30-Day Workmanship Guarantee
WIX SOLUTIONS provides a 30-day workmanship guarantee beginning on the date of written project completion/handover notice. During that period WIX SOLUTIONS will, without an additional service fee, investigate and correct reproducible defects or configuration errors attributable to its original work, where the reported issue concerns functionality expressly included in the purchased project. The Client must report the issue by email within the 30 days with enough information to reproduce it and allow reasonable access for correction. This is a defect-correction guarantee, not a 30-day unlimited revision or free maintenance plan. It does not cover new work, changes by the Client or third parties, Wix outages or platform changes, paid integrations or continuing changes to the Client's business. This guarantee does not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Economy Process F — Free WIX SOLUTIONS Application Updates
If a free application provided by WIX SOLUTIONS is included on the delivered website, any standard update WIX SOLUTIONS releases for that free application remains available without an additional WIX SOLUTIONS application-update or licence charge, while the application and its compatible update remain offered and supported. This does not promise bespoke development, manual installation work, ongoing site maintenance, indefinite feature support or a third-party app subscription. Any premium Wix plan, paid Wix application, paid external application or third-party licence remains the Client's responsibility. Fixes owed under the 30-day workmanship guarantee remain free as stated above.
Economy Process G — Bespoke Alternative for Full Control
Clients who require comprehensive control of the creative process, extensive collaboration, repeated design changes, additional review stages, substantially different architecture, custom workflows or broad customisation should purchase a separate Bespoke Website Design project rather than this Economy package. A move to a Bespoke project requires a separate quotation and written agreement and does not automatically vary or cancel this purchased Economy contract.
PRODUCT-SPECIFIC TERMS & SERVICE AGREEMENT — WIX SOLUTIONS
These terms apply to the online purchase of the Website Design for Secondary Schools Economy Advanced Website Design Service. They form part of the contract together with the WIX SOLUTIONS Digital Services Terms & Conditions and All Services Agreement made available before checkout. In the event of a genuine inconsistency, these product-specific terms govern the specific scope and special ownership arrangements of this purchased package, subject to mandatory law.
1. Parties and business-to-business eligibility
The supplier is WIX SOLUTIONS, Fleet, Hampshire, United Kingdom (support@wixsolutions.co.uk). The Client is the business, school, academy, company, sole trader or other organisation identified in the online order. This product is offered strictly to persons acting wholly or mainly for business or professional purposes. An individual buying wholly or mainly for personal purposes must not purchase this B2B package. An organisational purchaser warrants authority to bind that organisation.
2. Online contracting and mandatory pre-purchase acceptance
This is an online professional website-design service and not a physical product, shipped item or downloadable template. The Client must be presented with a working link to this complete agreement and applicable general terms before the order is placed. The Client must affirmatively accept them by an unticked mandatory checkbox or equivalent demonstrable consent mechanism before completing the checkout. A Client unwilling to accept the agreement must not purchase. Mere access to a product listing does not replace the required affirmative acceptance. WIX SOLUTIONS will retain available order and consent evidence.
3. Price, payment and commencement
The fixed project price is £799 in the site's GBP currency, payable in full online before work starts unless a different written payment method is expressly agreed. No promise of included third-party subscriptions is made. Once payment clears, WIX SOLUTIONS will normally aim to commence project-specific planning within 24 hours, excluding exceptional events; this is not a guarantee of completed delivery within 24 hours.
4. What constitutes project commencement
Client-specific work begins when WIX SOLUTIONS first performs an identifiable activity for this order, which may include reviewing submitted materials, researching or writing content, website planning, homepage concept preparation, CMS architecture, website design, SEO planning, integrating data, configuring bookings or other production work. WIX SOLUTIONS may keep internal records of the commencement date and activities performed.
5. Client cancellation and refunds after commencement
Before project-specific work commences, a request to cancel is considered under the applicable general terms and mandatory law. Once project-specific work has begun, the £799 fixed fee is non-refundable where the Client cancels for convenience, changes their mind, abandons the project, fails to supply materials, chooses another provider, or otherwise terminates for reasons not caused by WIX SOLUTIONS' breach. The fee reflects reserved professional capacity and design and production work. This condition does not remove remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including remedies for material non-performance, misrepresentation or other breaches attributable to WIX SOLUTIONS. An online B2B service is not automatically the same as digital content delivered for download. Consumer protections, where legally applicable notwithstanding the declared B2B purpose, remain unaffected.
6. Economy fixed-scope service and individual design
This is a professionally designed individual website within a predefined Economy package. It is not unrestricted bespoke software development. The site uses the agreed structure, supported Wix functionality and a selected design direction. There are exactly 14 pages or page types, including dynamic templates that may display multiple CMS records without counting each record as a separate website page.
7. Included website structure
- Home — Static Page
- About the School — Static Page
- Subjects & Curriculum — Dynamic CMS Listing Page
- Subject / Curriculum Details — Dynamic CMS Item Page
- Admissions & Transition — Static Page
- Sixth Form & Careers — Static Page
- Student Support, Safeguarding & SEND — Static Page
- Policies & Statutory Information — Static Page
- Term Dates & Events — Static Page
- Examinations & Performance Information — Static Page
- Book an Open Evening — Wix Bookings Page
- Blog / School News — Wix Blog Default Dynamic Page
- Contact — Static Page
- Legal Policies — Dynamic LEGAL Item Page
Page labels may be refined for accuracy without expanding the 14 page/page-type structure. Any materially different or additional structure must be separately quoted and agreed in writing.
8. Dynamic CMS content
Subjects or Curriculum CMS Listing and Item Pages with up to 5 initial CMS records, separate from examination results or pupil-specific data. The Client must provide factual descriptions and approval for public publication. Extra CMS items, database tables, specialised automations and private record systems are outside the base fee.
9. Booking and reservations
Up to 4 initial optional adult-managed open-evening, school-tour or information-session booking types where suitable. Admissions management, exam-result portals and classroom management systems are not included. Bookings are configured only within the functionality and service terms of supported Wix applications. Actual booking availability depends on the Client providing correct operating hours, staff availability, calendars, appointments and rules. The Client is responsible for monitoring and administering bookings after handover.
10. Packages and pricing plans
No student-fee billing system or paid membership platform is included. Paid courses, extended provision, subscription systems and custom enrolment processes are separate work. Additional subscriptions, transaction charges and selected third-party tools are not included in the fixed price.
11. Payments and deposits
Where appropriate and supported, the website may be configured to accept payments or deposits for services, school visits or courses only as permitted by the Client's own business and applicable law. The Client must establish merchant/provider eligibility, supply and maintain accurate prices and refund rules and pay transaction fees. Payment processing for free admissions or publicly funded school education is not assumed.
12. Professional content writing
Website copywriting and editing within the included page types are based on accurate factual information supplied by the Client. WIX SOLUTIONS may use professional and AI-assisted drafting tools but remains responsible for assembling and reviewing the delivered website. The Client approves factual, educational, promotional and legal information before publication. This package does not include unlimited content creation or translation.
13. Design concepts
The service includes one initial online consultation and up to three different initial Home Page design concepts. The Client selects one design direction for production. Concepts are mock-ups or alternative designs of one Home Page, not three finished websites. Communications after the initial online meeting normally take place by email or WhatsApp.
14. Revisions and correction of defects
One consolidated round of minor revisions is included following presentation of the substantially completed agreed scope. A minor revision adjusts existing copy, spacing, existing images supplied by the Client, or other small elements without changing the chosen design or the agreed architecture. Major redesigns, new functional systems, extra meetings, extra page types or repeated revision rounds require separate quotation. WIX SOLUTIONS will correct verified deviations from the purchased scope without treating such remedial work as a chargeable redesign.
15. Wix Blog
The website includes Wix Blog with its standard dynamic Blog page for school or company news, announcements, resources and search-friendly articles. Regular blog management or ongoing article-writing programmes after handover are excluded. No specific quantity of newly written blog posts is promised unless expressly included on the product page.
16. Initial SEO
Initial SEO-friendly configuration includes appropriate page titles, meta descriptions, readable URLs, heading hierarchy, internal links, alt text for Client-supplied images where appropriate, and available sitemap and search indexing settings. Ongoing SEO campaigns, rank tracking, search-engine ranking, traffic, sales, admissions, pupil numbers and booking outcomes are not guaranteed.
17. Sector-specific accuracy and regulatory obligations
The Client supplies and verifies published admissions, sixth-form options, careers provision, statutory governance information, official examination performance and all legally required policies. The school's statutory publication duties depend on whether it is a maintained school, academy or independent institution; compliance checking is not included. WIX SOLUTIONS is a website-development service provider, not an education regulator, solicitor, safeguarding specialist or school admissions authority. Responsibility for operating licences, school compliance and updated legal information remains with the Client.
18. Privacy, safeguarding and protection of children
Public-facing forms must not be used to collect examination results, student case files, safeguarding allegations or special-category data. Any pupils' photographs or testimonials must be lawful and appropriately authorised. UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and safeguarding policies remain the school's responsibility. Public school websites should present safeguarding contacts and policies as public information only, rather than collecting or managing sensitive reports through ordinary website forms. Any special data-processing or joint-control terms required for Wix access or website support must be agreed separately.
19. Accessibility and statutory policy content
WIX SOLUTIONS will use appropriate standard accessibility features available in Wix for the purchased project but does not supply a formal legal accessibility audit, WCAG conformance certification or full review of every statutory publication duty. The Client must provide required school policies, accessibility statements, admissions procedures, safety documents, data protection information and lawful publication approvals. Basic Data Protection / Privacy and Cookie Policy text may be prepared from Client information via the dynamic LEGAL CMS page where included.
20. Client materials, instructions and cooperation
The Client must supply timely and correct name, contact details, school or business details, curriculum and course information, prices, calendars, terms, licences, trademarks, permissions for photographs, approved staff biographies and other materials needed to deliver the selected scope. Delays, omissions or inaccurate information may delay completion. The Client warrants that supplied content can lawfully be used and will obtain any required authorisations.
21. Website technology, platform and ongoing costs
The website is created using Wix and relevant Wix applications. Wix subscriptions, domain registration, email hosting, premium app charges, licences, external platforms and transaction fees are excluded from the £799 design fee and remain the Client's responsibility. Platform availability, app integrations and future functionality are controlled by their providers; no third-party feature can be guaranteed indefinitely.
22. Acceptance, completion and handover
Completion is assessed by reference to the 14 page/page-type structure, initial configured items, selected design, written scope and agreed minor revision round. WIX SOLUTIONS may request approval or notify the Client that the site is ready for handover. New requirements or work outside the purchased package do not prevent completion of the original scope.
23. Transfer of Wix website ownership
Once the purchased project is completed and all agreed charges are paid, WIX SOLUTIONS will transfer the completed website to the Client's Wix account without charging an extra ownership-transfer fee. The Client becomes the Wix website owner with the normal rights permitted by Wix. The transfer does not assign the Wix platform or third-party licences, and WIX SOLUTIONS retains its pre-existing reusable design methods, templates, code, libraries and know-how.
24. WIX SOLUTIONS retained Admin (Co-Owner) role
A material condition of this Economy price and the no-extra-fee website transfer is that WIX SOLUTIONS remains assigned the Admin (Co-Owner) role on the transferred Wix website on an ongoing basis for as long as the delivered site or a substantially derived version continues to operate, unless WIX SOLUTIONS agrees otherwise in writing or continued access becomes unlawful. The Client undertakes not to revoke, downgrade, obstruct or materially restrict this role, or direct another person to do so, without prior written agreement. The arrangement is expressly disclosed before purchase and is not an undertaking by WIX SOLUTIONS to perform free ongoing administration or maintenance.
25. Administrator access, security and lawful exceptions
The parties acknowledge that Wix roles may grant powerful access to website administration and some customer information. The Client remains accountable for ensuring that the grant is authorised and compatible with its safeguarding, procurement, confidentiality and data protection obligations. The parties must agree appropriate access controls or data-processing documentation where legally necessary. Neither party is required to maintain access in breach of law or where a serious evidenced security or safeguarding incident requires proportionate protective action. In that event the Client shall promptly notify WIX SOLUTIONS, preserve evidence and discuss a lawful replacement arrangement in good faith. The Wix platform's permissions, ownership controls and future policies prevail over any attempted technical guarantee of permanent access.
26. Mandatory Wix Solutions website designer credit
As a material condition of this Economy service and ownership-transfer arrangement, the completed website footer must display a legible credit Website Design by WIX SOLUTIONS with a functioning link to https://www.wixsolutions.co.uk/. The Client shall retain the visible credit and link for as long as the site or substantially derived design remains in use, must not hide, disable, remove or deliberately obscure them, and shall not instruct a third party to do so without prior written agreement. The footer should be reasonable and consistent with the website's accessibility and design requirements.
27. Requests to remove designer credit or retained role
If the Client later wishes to remove the footer credit or the retained Admin (Co-Owner) arrangement, the Client may request a separate written variation. WIX SOLUTIONS may propose a mutually agreed alternative or buyout payment, subject to applicable law and proportionality. No pre-agreed removal fee is silently payable; any additional charge requires prior express written agreement. Security, statutory duties and mandatory legal rights cannot be overridden by this clause.
28. Intellectual property and client contributions
The Client retains rights in original information, trademarks, text and images supplied by it, and licenses those materials for completion and agreed portfolio display. Following full payment and transfer, the Client may operate and edit the completed website, subject to third-party licences and WIX SOLUTIONS' retained rights in reusable materials. WIX SOLUTIONS may show non-confidential, publicly visible website elements in its portfolio, but confidential educational or personal information must not be disclosed.
29. Maintenance and post-handover responsibilities
Unless purchased separately, this fixed fee does not include indefinite maintenance, security monitoring, school-policy updates, staff replacement, exam result updates, curriculum maintenance, course timetable management, inbox supervision, new booking services, domain renewals or technical support. The Client is responsible for the live website and data it processes after transfer. Continued Wix administrator status does not create an ongoing obligation to manage the website for free.
30. Delays and external services
Performance dates depend on the Client's provision of information, timely decisions and the availability of Wix and third-party services. WIX SOLUTIONS is not liable for interruptions solely caused by independent platform outages or changes beyond its reasonable control, but will take reasonable steps in performing its own contractual obligations.
31. Liability, exclusions and rights
Any contractual liability limits in the general WIX SOLUTIONS terms apply only to the extent lawful and reasonable. Nothing excludes or restricts liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing restricts a legally valid remedy for WIX SOLUTIONS' own material breach. The Client remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of its supplied content and its post-handover operations.
32. Entire agreement, hierarchy and changes
The applicable online order, this Product-Specific Agreement, the agreed product description and the published general WIX SOLUTIONS service terms form the written agreement. Any exceptional add-on or variation should be approved by both parties in writing. Product-specific scope, transfer, retained role and credit requirements take precedence over conflicting general service provisions for this product, insofar as the law permits.
33. Disputes and governing law
The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute in writing by contacting support@wixsolutions.co.uk and giving a reasonable opportunity to remedy any verified problem. This Agreement and any non-contractual claim arising from it are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction subject to any mandatory provisions of applicable law.
34. Final electronic acknowledgement
By affirmatively accepting the terms at checkout and completing an authorised B2B purchase, the Client confirms that the £799 service is an online fixed-scope Economy Advanced Website, includes exactly 14 website pages or page types, professional content support, initial Wix Blog and SEO setup, relevant CMS and booking allowances expressly stated above, one initial consultation, up to three Home Page concepts and one round of minor revisions; third-party costs are separate; voluntary cancellation after Client-specific commencement is non-refundable subject to non-excludable rights; ownership transfers after full payment with no additional transfer fee; WIX SOLUTIONS retains the agreed ongoing Admin (Co-Owner) role; and a linked WIX SOLUTIONS credit must remain in the footer. A purchaser who does not accept these terms must not proceed with the order.
DYNAMIC LEGAL POLICIES
The delivered website's Data Protection / Privacy and Cookie Policy content, where included, is supplied via its dynamic LEGAL item-page structure, based on accurate Client information and the actual site configuration.
